It's that time of year again! To enter, upload your screenshot of your costume to imgur and attach them to the forum here.

The difference this year is the judging will be made based on not only the costume, but on clever usage of in-game effects and spells! You can recruit help from your friends to obtain the effects you desire, but they will not get a share of your reward!

Rules:

1. One entry per member of the FC. Images must be posted here for entry.
   
2. Screenshots can only contain effects obtainable through Final Fantasy XIV's core engine. This means that skills, limit breaks, spells, and the in-game filters can be utilized. NO PHOTOSHOP OR OTHER SIMILAR PROGRAMS CAN BE USED TO ENHANCE THE SCREENSHOTS.
3. Once a screenshot is entered, it cannot be changed.
4. Costumes that can be purchased through the MogStation will not be considered in their entirety. If you are using a portion of the outfit, this is acceptable, but costumes of Minfilia using MogStation glamour will not be considered as a serious entry.
5. Voting will take place for the first week of November on Discord.

Prizes:

• 1 Grand Prize winner: 1 million gil OR 1 stack of 99 Infusion of any stat.
• 2 Runner ups: 500,000 gil OR 48 Infusion of any stat.

Hi, everyone! I'd like to introduce a new system we're going to be implementing in the near future in the FC to help people improve. ♥

Beginning in July, Simple will be rolling out a Mentor Program. This is similar to what SE already has, but better. :D Click here for a list of the mentors.

TiS Mentoring Program

What do mentors do?

Mentors in our FC are essentially just fellow members who have stepped up because they are confident in their ability to play their job/role and are willing to help others improve if interested. This means that they are willing to answer any questions you have on the job they've volunteered for. If you are unsure of your DPS rotation, feel free to ask them for help! If they're available, they'll help you out. If they are not currently available, they'll try to schedule a time for you both to meet and discuss whatever questions you had.

What else does this program entail?

We will also be hosting learning parties for the new Extreme Primals (and the old ones if needed) in order to train people who are not as confortable with the mechanics. After attending these sessions, the idea is you'd be able to join PuGs comfortably since you will understand the mechanics to their entirety. This also means we will purposely not push phases so each rotation of the fight can be seen and understood. We want everyone to 100% understand the fights and be able to fend for themselves.

This will also may eventually include 7-man training.

In order to include more people into sales, we want to teach people how to 7-man the fights. Those who show a lot of improvement in terms of mechanics and DPS will be able to participate in sales.

These sessions will likely be after the completion of the mechnical training and after sufficiently improving DPS in a given fight. This applies to healers and tanks as well. Since 7-manning a primal effectively and efficiently requires high DPS, only those who have shown improvement in the primals via practice (either in training sessions, or practicing on their own), will be able to go to a 7-man training course.

 When will these training sessions happen?

This has yet to be determined. We're currently in the process of picking a time, but are currently considering weekends.

Hey, everyone.

Please sign up on this spreadsheet for the bird static. (Link removed. Signups are closed!)

Fill out character name, preferred jobs and each day's availability. In the spots under the primals, put in how many tokens you have for each primal or if you have the bird already, color the cell in green.

Having experience in the primals is preferred, but not entirely necessary. Most of them are boosted with echo at this point, so if you don't know the fight or are uncomfortable with it, can be taught fairly easily. The exception to this is obviously Zurvan, but as a whole the fight is not that difficult and can be taught within reason to 2-3 people in a group.

Thanks fam! Looking to run like 3-4 days a week for no more than an hour a day/night. Times will be highly variable based on what times people can make for what day so we will likely use the FC site calendar for scheduling!
